This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I did a show last November and not one person I invited showed up. People came in off the street but not one friend or past client showed up. I didn't sell a thing. Neither did any of the other artist and I kept telling myself that. It didn't help. I fell into a deep dark hole of depression and couldn't bring myself to paint. My daughter called it artist angst, I called it 'My arts crap and what the hell do I think I'm doing?' I returned to my old high school method of filling sketch books and not letting anyone see them. My favorite Aunt broke her shoulder twice in one week and I decided to do a painting for her. She loves hummingbirds so of course that is what I painted for her. Between doing that painting and spring and sunshine finally being here, I feel like I'm coming out of the dulldrums.
When I was younger I wanted to pursue a career in the art world. Unfortunately my aunt, who would be paying for college, would not pay for "a course that would be used as a hobby." So after getting married, having 2 kids and spending years telling myself I couldn't be an artist for a living, I thought, Hey, why not? Lets get back to this. So then I slowly got back into being an artist. Now I have become the art show coordinator for the White Rock/South Surrey Art Society, and have shows through out the year in the lower mainland of British Columbia
